Ricky Martin, 29, was sighted keeping company at a recent music festival in San Remo, Italy, with Latvian model Ines Misan, according to newspaper stories in the singer’s hometown of San Juan. Photos depicting the two holding hands in London accompanied the reports. “She’s his friend at the moment,” Nanette Lamboy, a spokeswoman for Martin’s San Juan-based manager, told the Associated Press. “I can’t confirm that she’s his girlfriend, but they’ve been seeing each other.” And it seems that this will remain the case. “They’re together in London,” said Lamboy. Martin is heading to England to promote his new CD, “Sound Loaded.” Added the rep: “He’ll leave soon for Germany, likely with Misan at his side.” New York’s Daily News reports the Baltic beauty’s age as 37, and notes that Misan was at the center of headlines in 1997 when she was sued by her former boyfriend, Wall Street trader John Lattanzio, who alleged that he and she had been planning to get married. When that fell through, he wanted back $500,000 in cash and jewelry that his legal papers said that he had given her. The suit resulted in Misan’s returning a 9-carat diamond and platinum ring worth $290,000, says the News, though she did manage to hold onto a diamond necklace, diamond rings and a crocodile purse.
